xev should give you keycodes and then in a script I do something like:
/usr/bin/xmodmap -e 'keycode 134=degree'
/usr/bin/xmodmap -e 'keycode 135=mu'
/usr/bin/xmodmap -e 'keycode 66=NoSymbol'
/usr/bin/xmodmap -e 'keycode 133=cent'
xmodmap -e 'keycode 135=Insert'
Tried that on my home machine, and it remapped the menu key to the Insert,
so will try it on my lab machines on Monday. Thanks.
