hmmm, I just tried it with Firefox and it is fast, so it seems like it
is a chrome issue, add-on maybe?? what add-on would slow it down?
No problem with Facebook here in Taiwan running chrome Version 44.0.2403.155
(64-bit) under KDE with 17 extensions of various flavors installed and a default MTU of
1500.
