I am using FC3. Also it's a 915 GLVGL board and system-config-sound
doesn't detect it. I guess updating the kernel would be the easier option?

Seems the sound chip is not listed in the above list. I'm compiling the new
2.6.13.2 <
http://2.6.13.2> kernel. Would it support the Realtek High
Definition Audio chip on the 915 motherboard? It's not possible for me to
get FC4.
