My HP Deskjet all-in-one worked out of the box (once I installed the HP
package from the Fedora repo). I'd tend to assume that other HPs also
work, assuming you can afford the supplies. Ironically, it didn't work
OOB on Windows, even after several days of online support calls with
HP :-)

We have canon mf4410 in our lab. Recently I tried to connect it directly
to my F17 laptop. I couldn't get it to work out of the box but there's a
proprietary driver on canon web site. I just don't want to install
it :-)
