that has to be awfully close to the maximum capacity. is that
really too large? and why put out an image that just ever so slightly
goes over the limit? or am i misreading something?

Brasero gave me the same warning, but it volunteered to try an overburn.
OK, sez I, let's give it a shot. While the resultant CD passed both
Brasero's verification procedure and Fedora's on-disk verification, it
is the slowest live CD I've ever used -- it took 9 minutes to do the
verification and then boot to the desktop. Even then, it was way too
slow -- as in 14 seconds to open Konsole. The logs were loaded with avc
denials; nothing about hardware problems. Odd, since F10 runs quite
nicely on this box. I also downloaded the DVD and I'll install it on a
spare partition this weekend.
