Actually I looked in the ssl.conf but did not find any directives
that
would make the Apache SSL virtual hosts look for the files in the
/etc/httpd/htdocs directory?
Is this some type of default for secured DocumentRoot directive?
Lonnie
Fedora does not use "/etc/httpd/htdocs" in any way as a DocumentRoot.
"/etc/httpd" is the configuration path for Apache2. It seems obvious you
did enter that path anywhere in your customisation.
grep -nri "DocumentRoot" /etc/httpd/*
apachectl -S
Both commands should point you into the right direction to find the
malicious config entry.
