The difference of course is, Debian offers a stable release life of over 2
years prior. That is hardly as aggravating as making a major migration

would love to release more often, if they could manage to bring together
10,000 packages and >3,000 packagers to make a timely release.
(Which I fear Fedora may come to be if Red Hat doesn't keep a *very*
strict policy about packages going into Core vs. Extras.)
