although ifconfig doesn't show anything, if I run iwconfig I get the
following:
[root@eddie-new ~]# iwconfig
enp4s0 no wireless extensions.
wlp0s29f7u4 IEEE 802.11bgn ESSID:off/any
Mode:Managed Access Point: Not-Associated Tx-Power=0 dBm
Retry short limit:7 RTS thr:off Fragment thr:off
Encryption key:off
Power Management:off
enp6s0 no wireless extensions.
lo no wireless extensions.
[root@eddie-new ~]#
I have tried using system-config-network to add the device but it wasn't
listed. I manually added it, but it didn't give me chance to configure the
WIFI, and the device still doesn't appear in ifconfig
I'm not using NetworkManager

Hi all,
I've plugged the above USB WIFI dongle into an aging F21 server to make it
into an AirPrint server but can't get it working.
I chose this dongle, purchased from The Pi Hut [1] because I have used a
number of them in Raspberry Pi's as well as my Centos 7 laptop (The built
in one doesn't work)
My problem is that I cannot get it to work on my server. The install on
Jessie on the Pi's is a doddle, and on Centos it just worked. However I
can't seem to get it working on the F21 box. I have done the usual checks,
and Google but I can't find out what to do. LSUSB [2] sees the device, but
I don't get anything in ifconfig. lsmod seems to have the correct modules
listed [3].
Any help would be appreciated.
