typically, a couple days before the actual release, you'll find a
lot of mirrors with a release directory that you just don't have
permission to get into, which is fine. but it's odd that i didn't
notice even a locked directory anywhere.

never mind, i read more carefully and realized that the
release-to-world date was nov 8, not nov 6. i was confused since,
historically, the official announcement on the RH mailing lists seems
to come a couple days after the actual mirrors are running. time for
more coffee. ack.
