So you consider it a failure of preupgrade if the target system's /boot
doesn't have adequate space on it? Would you consider it a failure if
there wasn't enough free space on the root filesystem? As with any
other program, there are minimum requirements for proper execution. How
is it the program's fault if those requirements aren't met?
