f-prot is working well for me. I did get the mydoom worm yesterday, and
my .procmailrc converted it from 'message.scr' to 'message.scr.txt'.
f-prot did not find the worm while it was in the email. I saved it as a
file, rescanned, and f-prot found it.
The combination antivir/amavis found doom
already when he came in via
postfix and quarantined it. my users just got a warning, that the
emailadress xx(a)yy.zz sent a virus. the virus never got to my
workstations...
