Hum looks fine -- just ran the same yum command on an i386 box here

got the same package count, but yum install galeon worked.
Can we see your /etc/yum.conf and
/etc/yum.repos.d/fedora-extras.repo?
[root@localhost ~]# cat /etc/yum.conf

Maybe also check
rpm -q yum against the good ones.
[btth@localhost ~]$ rpm -q yum
yum-2.4.1-1.fc4
[btth@localhost ~]$
on the problem and two of the good ones.
hey also try
yum whatprovides galeon see what that says
I got a *long* response, but nothing
that looked like an executable -- lots of *png files, a few *svgz -- do
you want to see the whole thing? It's a 14K file with four of what look
like paragraphs from extras, fourteen from base, twenty-one from
updates-released, and two installed.
Those last two are
redhat-artwork.i386 0.122-10 installed
Matched from:
/usr/share/icons/Bluecurve/16x16/apps/galeon.png
/usr/share/icons/Bluecurve/24x24/apps/galeon.png
/usr/share/icons/Bluecurve/32x32/apps/galeon.png
/usr/share/icons/Bluecurve/36x36/apps/galeon.png
/usr/share/icons/Bluecurve/48x48/apps/galeon.png
kdebase.i386 6:3.5.1-0.3.fc4 installed
Matched from:
/usr/share/icons/crystalsvg/32x32/apps/galeon.png
/usr/share/icons/crystalsvg/48x48/apps/galeon.png
/usr/share/icons/crystalsvg/scalable/apps/galeon.svgz
[root@localhost ~]#
So should I maybe go to /usr/share/icons as root and command "rm -rf
*/galeon.*" and re-try install??
