There is no work around to handle it without
upgrading it to the new version of fedora?
I really wonder how can I solve this,
I just need one more dependency for my installation.

and if it is only because security
F14 reached EOL in 2011 and it is ridiculous installing
a distribution with two major upgrades per year and not
doing them - F14 was pre-systemd, there are no longer
any repos nor a active userbase for it
