Yes! This is exactly what I am thinking.... I had just upgraded my
machine from f29, using dnf system upgrade.

Notice below that ssmtp is *not* a perl script. Also notice that if I remove it I
don't
have any other packages being removed.
So, you need to use the "dnf history" command to show what was being done.
Otherwise, it
is just guesswork.
