I'm not sure i understand what you are trying to ask here.
Are you saying that you ran blkid on the same physical devices on f9
then moved them to a machine running f7 and run blkid again and got
different UUID information?

No, I made a mistake. When you run blkid on a WinXP partition you get
very different looking UUID then on a Linux partition. Once I found that
out all was cleare except for the question:
How would find out what the UUID means? It looks like random garbage.
