The fstab file needs a line like
/dev/hda1 /mnt/windows ntfs umask=0222,uid=sesso,gid=root,ro
Don't forget the last two fields. Not sure what will happen without
them. The line above should be:
/dev/hda1 /mnt/windows ntfs umask=0222,uid=sesso,gid=root,ro 0 0
