There was a time that I removed sudo from my Fedora installation as
redundant, as I always set a root password. Then, over a year later, I
had to re-install it because there were (and probably still are) install
scripts in .rpms that used it, although for the life of me I can't
imagine why; after all, both rpm and dnf need to be run as root to
install or remove packages.
