Found it. Thanks. When I try to remove the old one which I'd like to do
before installing the new one I get an error when doing an rpm -e that
the package is not installed and with yum it says not packages marked
for removal. What is the best way to remove it? There is no uninstall.
try:
# rpm -e `rpm
-qf /usr/java/jre1.5.0_04/plugin/i386/ns7/libjavaplugin_oji.so`
(that's all one line)
That should identofy the right rpm to remove.
Paul.
