Who knows maybe we'll get back a way to have SHIFT+PrintScreen in
GNOME 48, who knows?
There is an application called spectacle that takes screenshots. In
the configuration, there is a way to set keyboard shortcuts. Perhaps
you can adapt it to do what you want?
