download the codecs from Mplayer
save to your home folder
each line is in the terminal
move the archive to the tmp folder
tar xvfj *.tar.bz2
cp *.* /usr/local/lib/codecs/
chmod 755 /usr/local/lib/codecs/*
cp /usr/local/lib/codecs/* /usr/lib/win32
restart firefox about:config

instruction to restart firefox? What should I be lookin for (or
