Hi,
i have fedora 14 and since i updated my mainboard, i recognized,
that the cpufreq max is not right.
The cpu is clocked at 4.000 Mhz but in fedora i only get 2700 max.
What command are you using to get this number?
lshw-gui shows this for the first part of the cpu info.
(From saved info)
<node id="cpu" claimed="true" class="processor"
handle="DMI:0004">
<description>CPU</description>
<product>AMD Phenom(tm) II X4 955 Processor</product>
<vendor>Hynix Semiconductor (Hyundai
Electronics)</vendor>
<physid>4</physid>
<businfo>cpu@0</businfo>
<version>AMD Phenom(tm) II X4 955 Processor</version>
<serial>To Be Filled By O.E.M.</serial>
<slot>AM2</slot>
<size units="Hz">3200000000</size>
<capacity units="Hz">3200000000</capacity>
<width units="bits">64</width>
<clock units="Hz">200000000</clock>
<configuration>
<setting id="cores" value="4" />
<setting id="enabledcores" value="4" />
</configuration>
Also tried cpupower, but it seems to be for intel cpus only?
Any ideas?
Greetings,
