Brasero gave me the same warning, but it volunteered to try an
overburn. OK, sez I, let's give it a shot. While the resultant CD
passed both Brasero's verification procedure and Fedora's on-disk
verification, it is the slowest live CD I've ever used -- it took 9
minutes to do the verification and then boot to the desktop. Even
then, it was way too slow -- as in 14 seconds to open Konsole. The
logs were loaded with avc denials; nothing about hardware problems.
Odd, since F10 runs quite nicely on this box. I also downloaded the
DVD and I'll install it on a spare partition this weekend.

Update: I downloaded the Gnome F11 live CD and gave it a try. I had
none of the problems noted above.
