htaht is why i suggested to use rsync with the --links
option, this will copy links as links and is the better
solution as scp because both are running over ssh but
rsync is much more fexilble and can cover any type of
links and attributes
Yes, rsync is probably the best tool for the job in this case.
But anyway, I sometimes wonder how come that scp doesn't have an option
to disable symbolic links. It's an obvious thing to have, precisely for
these purposes...
