And it will approach 1 for *any* such distro. Changing distros
doesn't help this problem, unless you go to one of
the minimal distros that are still oriented towards simplified manual configuration (if
there is such a one
nowadays). My personal philosophy is that I try to stick with one distro and learn how
to manually modify things
to bypass the configuration tools as much as possible -- though some such tools, such as
NetworkManager seem to do
their best to fight against those efforts.
