I forgot to mention that you will need to find an update for the
firmware
for this device. I had a similar problem with an atheros based
mini-pci
wifi.
Once you find the update, you might also have to flash it manually.

What is the latest date firmware listed?
I think you may have to downgrade to a slightly older firmware.
