install snd-ac97 /bin/true
I've already tried removing the ac97 stuff altogether, it doesn't seem
to stop the kernel loading the modules. Also the snd-emu10k1 modules
get loaded just fine, they just don't seem to be getting used, so I
don't think it's a modprobe problem?
