Not sure I can do that with a spin live DVD image. When I try to edit the
boot initiation code by typing "e" I see:
getparams 'Start Fedora-MATE-Compiz-Live 29'
linuxfi /images/pxeboot root=live:CDLABEL=Fedora-MATE-Live-29-1-2
read.live.img
initdefi /images/pxeboot/initrd.img
I don't see where grub-style editing is supported on a live DVD image.

Try the troubleshooting and do the basic video install. Have seen
some
video
configurations that fail with the default install, since something with
the video
isn't fully supported on the install image. Usually, the basic install
will work,
and then running the update will bring in the stuff to support the video.
