gnome
OK, I just fired up my F30 Gnome VBox system.
When I go to "files" there is an entry for "SAMSUNG Android" on the
left side. Clicking
on it shows "Empty File" and a pop-up on the phone asks for permission to allow
access.
Once I allow access the directory is populated and everything works as expected
And there is the following....
[egreshko@f30g mtp:host=SAMSUNG_SAMSUNG_Android_ad051602403470b326]$ pwd
/run/user/1000/gvfs/mtp:host=SAMSUNG_SAMSUNG_Android_ad051602403470b326
[egreshko@f30g mtp:host=SAMSUNG_SAMSUNG_Android_ad051602403470b326]$ ls
Card Phone
And I can cd through the directory structure.
[egreshko@f30g Camera]$ ls
20190613_140038.jpg
[egreshko@f30g Camera]$ pwd
/run/user/1000/gvfs/mtp:host=SAMSUNG_SAMSUNG_Android_ad051602403470b326/Card/DCIM/Camera
for example
