I think you would have to explain what you mean by "lookup" for this
explanation to be much use.
There is no command "lookup" on my system.
Fwiw, I took "lookup" as a typo for plain English "look up," and
it made sense. (It may take quite a while to learn properly, but it did
make sense at that point for him to say, in effect, "Now let's look
jiggamadiddle up ..."
