Inspiron 600 works great with fedora core. I've been told not order the
wireless card as only 802.11b not the 802.11.b g card

Interesting you should mention Dell. I was just on their site. I
hadheard they had laptops that they ship with RH, however I could
notfind any. I also poked around on a few of the sites that claim
Dellswork well with Linux, but could not find any RECENT model
numberslisted; either positive or negative.
Got a model number or two that you are confident would work well?
