If on RH9 you would have needed the registration. On FC{1|2} no rhn
registration is needed. However, it may be easier to try yum for the
update.
I should perhaps mention I have the same problem as the original poster
- 6 updates available but up2date tells me all is good (I'm up2date).
The packages in question are kernel-doc ones. It tells me I have:
kernel-doc-2.6.5-1.358
The packages I need to update according to the Red Hat Network tool:
kernel-doc-2.6.8-1.521

kernel-doc-2.6.6-1.435.2.1

Something's totally screwy here, and I thought I'd just let you guys
know in case the OP has exactly the same problem.
I just ignore it because kernel-doc doesn't phase me.
