Check two things. First, did you do "su" or "su -"? If former, /sbin
(where iwconfig should be) wasn't in your path. Try /sbin/iwconfig (or
do su -, and than /sbin will be in your path).
If you get same error, check if you have wireless-tools package
installed. Type rpm -q wireless-tools. If it says that package is not
installed, install it.
