Um, it does. Not very well, but it does.
The concentration of hydrogen ions in pure water is 10E-7
(which is where the 7 in the neutral pH 7 comes from).
You clean it up with a
mixed bed unit to 14.7Meg ohm/cm and it don't conduct
very well ;-)
