I have multiple desktops installed so I have "cheese" installed as well. It is
a gnome
app and may bring in more dependencies than you wish...but may be worth a look.
I tried using dnfex to search for camera programs and it came up empty.
It also did not find anything for video, so I think there is something
wrong with my setup. Cheese is not available within Xfce, so I dread
what it would install. I DO have k3b, so some kde program would not add
too much.
