So.....according to the site, there's a chance of a "middle-man"
attacking your system when you use fedup?....so then what's the
alternative? I would hate to implement something new and have it wreck
my PC. Was this also th case with preupgrade and Fedora 17?....I just
find it weird that something like this wouldn't have been dealt with
BEFORE implementation of a new way of doing things...
Note that the above page is still in Beta and that F18 has not been
released yet. I imagine that once it is released we'll see the usual
posting of SHA checksums on multiple sites, making it as secure as is
practically possible (for those that actually bother to check).
