Oops, sorry for the multi-posts. It's a Yahoo screw-up (my replies are
sent through their SMTP server). Recently they required a password
change, but gave no notification about it. Just every attempt to post
would fail with a useless error message.
It wasn't until I tried logging into their web portal that I found I was
forced to change passwords. Then I had the fun and games of trying to
put the new password into Evolution. But thanks to the bad error
message, Evolution didn't prompt me to enter a password, gave me no way
to change the old one it was trying to use, and it just kept failing to
send. Gawd I hate service providers who're shit at their jobs.
