LOL. I was thinking of "dd if=/dev/urandom ...". I did this three
weeks ago before backing up some systemd config files that I wanted to
keep :(
But the OP actually wanted "if=/dev/sdb of=/dev/null". I'm not sure
that "if=/dev/null of=/dev/sdb" does much, but I wouldn't test it on a
partition whose data I'd prefer not to lose :)
