So if i understand you correctly , your suggestion is to make a
partition on /dev/sdb ,
for example , /dev/sdb1 then mark it as Linux LVM and then use that with
the pvcreate command
to add some extra space
. Correct ??
Yes. And I do the same thing for RAID as well.
