This is why Red Hat does not push out KDE 4.0 unto their corporate desktop
customers. They know better :) If they did, then I can just see the complaints.
That depends, maybe RedHat thinks it would be a good thing
if they
didn't have to fool with KDE anymore :-).
I keep getting closer and closer to the point where
learning enough
about gentoo to switch to it and customize it out the wazoo
is
seeming more and more attractive (except that previous
gentoo dabbling
showed me just how much work that would be).

Don't let that discourage you though. :)
If it works like FreeBSD, then it is supposed to be good since it is based off the ports
system, ports/portage. Things take time to build, but when they are done you are ready
for some real work :). I've tried Sabayon Live DVD which is based on Gentoo and it
worked well in my opinion.
