You can either install the package group xfce-desktop in the
Add/Remove software application, or "yum groupinstall xfce-desktop"
on the command line. Then you should be able to log out and choose
XFCE as a session.
It would also be a good idea to install switchdesk and switchdesk-gui
so that you can easily move between xfce, gnome, kde or whatever
desktop.
