xrandr -q
says cannot display
I am using xorg-x11-drv-intel-2.19.0.3.fc16.x86_64
Well, you did say that startx didn't work. It hung forever. Right?
So X isn't running and therefore xrandr would not find a display. As I mentioned,
there may be a kernel parameter which may help. Just not in a position to check what that
may be.
