Done that.
I suppose now I need to boot and
figure out the changes I need to make.
I don't recall you mentioning which live image you're using. Assuming
it's workstation, edit /etc/gdm/custom.conf and uncomment the line with
"WaylandEnable=false". Then reboot and see what happens.
