This is probably basic stuff. It's just been a very long time

Simply put, if I plug my Kindle into a USB port, Fedora fails to
recognize and mount it as an MTP device. This was working in F-21.
Particularly troubling is the failure of ADB to see the device
after 21 -> 22.
No problem with my Android phone- Mounts and seen by ADB.
Where might I start? I would RTFM if I knew which FM to R ;-)
which FM?
as poc suggests, have you tried 'calibre'?
looking at calibre site;
http://www.calibre-ebook.com/
i clicked "Help" and found;
Frequently Asked Questions — calibre User Manual
http://manual.calibre-ebook.com/faq.html
where i found;
Why is my device not detected in linux?
http://manual.calibre-ebook.com/faq.html#why-is-my-device-not-detected-in...
so it may be that f22 kernel needs to be recompiled.
also, there is a bugs page;
https://bugs.launchpad.net/calibre
if none of above's work, or, you do not wish to try a recompile or read
thru bugs, you can create an account and file your own bug. ;-)
much luck.
