Is this really needed? Last time I installed an OS in a VM (both KVM
and VMWare) I didn't need any SELinux magic. But that was almost two
years ago, maybe things have changed since.

I believe it's need if you put the ISOs and system images in a place
other than /var/lib/libvirt --I think that's the correct path.
