Telling people not to do something they are interested in doing —
scratching their itch, as we say — is the oppposite of "what Linux is
about".
Not really what I'm saying. I have no problem with anyone interested in
doing this. My fear is of Fedora becoming even more Gnome-focussed than
it already is. If that's not the case, or not what the OP meant, then
fine.
I like the idea, and am in support of it _and_ in support of anyone
who
wants to bring the equivalent to other environments.
