Tim,
Thank you for the detailed response. I am manually hard-wrapping this
message and I just manually quoted your response. After all that, it
will still appear as its own thread in the archives. In other words,
I think I just need to use a different client for posting to mailing
lists.
This post from 2008 on Zimbra's forums seems to detail the issues I'm
having and points out that they're never likely to all be fixed.
http://www.zimbra.com/forums/users/23233-using-zimbra-mailing-lists.html#...
Bug 5935 concerns proper threading and it has been open since 2006!
http://bugzilla.zimbra.com/show_bug.cgi?id=5935
It's a shame, because I've found it to be a nice web-based client other
than these issues.

Re: Broken mail readers (was Re: Properly wiping a hard drive ?)
by Matthew J. Roth
I've noticed that my mail client (Advanced Zimbra Web Client 6.0) seems to be breaking threads. My message appears in the proper thread within the client itself, but it appears as a new thread with the same subject as the existing thread when I search the archives <http://lists.fedoraproject.org/pipermail/users/2010-October/thread.html>. In the unlikely case that this message threads properly, search for "password change does not work: LDAP, sssd, nss or pam error?" in the October archive for the most recent example.
Another annoyance is that each of my paragraphs appears as a single long line.
I'd really appreciate it if anyone could explain why these things are happening and how I could configure the Zimbra Web Client to fix them.
Thank you,
Matthew Roth

install kmod-nvidia and system-config-display
makes the screen fits the whole screen in 1024x768 , but not in F13.
I don't know how to fix that,

Bluetooth headset as mobile microphone
by Zoltan Hoppar
I have an bluetooth headset witch is capable to bind with my mobile,
but also possibly with my computer too. The question is the folllowing
- is it possible to select my BT headset as input device, and redirect
the output to amplifiers, or amplified speakers through Pulseaudio?
How can I know that my bluetooth headphone is capable to use as this?
Or just if my machine detects the headset, choose out as input device?
Thx,
Zoltan

Properly wiping a hard drive ?
by linux guy
I bought a hard drive and wrote a bunch of information to it as an
external drive only to find that it won't fit in my laptop as an
internal drive.
How do I absolutely destroy all the data on the drive so that I may
safely return it to the retailer for a refund ?
Thanks

Problem with accessing an iPod
by Philipp Böhm
Hi,
For some days I have a problem with accessing my iPod through through
gpodder or gtkpod. Rhythmbox is able to access the iPod and is able to
transfer and delete songs to it. After investigating the output of dmesg
I found some error messages:

After that I reset my iPod to factory defaults through iTunes with hope
that this will solve my problem. But the same error occurs every time I
plug in the device. After some google searches I found some entries in
the Ubuntu forums where users complain about the same problem. They say
that this could be related to udev or devkit.
Has anybody the same problem or a solution. Or is it a bug so I can file
it at bugzilla.
thanks
Philipp
