Hi Juan & Hiemanshu,
After seeing this blog entry last week:

I thought it would be a good idea for us to have a discussion of
your goals for this system, and whether it has any crossover with a
calendar system that Fedora has been seeking for some time.
Other groups that are working on systems that span several Fedora
teams, as I imagine an events system would, use the "logistics"
mailing list to keep people informed and involved:
https://lists.fedoraproject.org/mailman/listinfo/logistics
If either of you is not subscribed, I'd like to invite you to that
list so we can discuss more effectively. Thanks!
I spoke to Juan over IRC, and well this could be something nice to do but what we were
planning is more than just a calendar module/server. We want to be able to manage budgets
or sponsorship requests, we also want to be able to manage attendance, assign tasks, add
voting for the bar camp style events and/or BoFs, being able to save tweets/dent from a
specific hashtag for an event so the organizers can later read the impressions about that
specific event from users. We are also planning on a more generic solution so a lot of
people can benefit from this (School or College events, normal meetups, etc)
