Bug fixes =========
* Fixed a very old bug where unsetting the "nick-len" variable in Tcl, then attempting to restart the bot will crash it. * Cygwin 1.7 can have issues getting the dns server list, you can now set the dns-servers config variable to fix this. * QNX6/Mac OS X/Solaris dns.mod fixes * 64bit fixes * Crash bug fix with Tcl8.5.10 and workaround for a bug in Tcl8.5.10 * Reverted the ability of vwait and update to process Eggdrop events - this will come in 1.8 (too buggy for now). * env(TZ) default config setting is now correct * Compilation against Tcl8.3/8.4 works again
New/modified config variables =============================
* dns-servers: List of DNS servers dns.mod uses, writable * dns-cache: Time in seconds to cache successful DNS replies * dns-negcache: Negative DNS replies caching time * dns-maxsends: Limits the number of retries for failed DNS queries * dns-retrydelay: Time in seconds between retries -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ChangeLog:

================================================================================ globus-authz-2.1-1.el6 (FEDORA-EPEL-2012-0065) Globus Toolkit - Globus authz library -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Update Information:
Update to Globus Toolkit 5.2
Many of the changes implemented by upstream in this release, such as the removal of the flavour tags in the library names and the support for standard installation paths, were already present in the Fedora packages of earlier releases using patches. This update is backwards compatible and does not introduce any soname bumps.
The most important change is the handling of threads. In earlier releases the threading model was chosen at compilation time, and the model used by the libraries in Fedora and EPEL was using pthreads. In this release the threading model is instead chosen at runime, either by using API calls or by setting environment variables. The default model in the new release is the forking model, but also the pthread model is available.
In order to preserve the behaviour of applications linked to previous versions, versioned symbols have been introduced so that the new libraries will switch to the pthread threading model automatically when used by applications that were linked to earlier versions.

================================================================================ globus-openssl-module-3.1-1.el6 (FEDORA-EPEL-2012-0065) Globus Toolkit - Globus OpenSSL Module Wrapper -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Update Information:
