Hi all,
I am using CentOS 7 and I have noted that the project "tinyproxy" is not
present in the EPEL 7 repository. It was part of the repository until EPEL
6.
Also I have noted that the 'tinyproxy' package is still present in the
last version of Fedora, so I was wondering why is not present in the
repository of Centos 7.
This is a Frequently Asked Question...
Why isn't a package in EPEL-X when it is in EPEL-Y.
Packages are not automatically branched for each EPEL version. They must be
sponsored by a packager for particular channels, and packagers may or may
not be interested in EPEL-X while they were interested in EPEL-Y. In most
cases it is best to have users ask if the owner of the package as that
tells the packager there are actually users for it versus guessing.
