bootif didn't work for me but
ksdevice=eth0
did. I think it's because I'm using Centos 4.x.

I've read through a few forum posts out there and it looks like you resolve this by
utilizing ksdevice=bootif or ksdevice=eth0 as a kernel option. I've done this and
verified that they are updated in the pxelinux.cfg/*macaddr* files, but this doesn't
seem to fix the problem.
Has anyone else ran into this issue?
